About The Position

We are seeking a MuleSoft Integration Architect with our client in Orlando, FL for an onsite role. This role involves designing, leading, and implementing integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring performance, security, and governance of APIs. The role also includes defining end-to-end mobile architecture for native and/or cross-platform applications, ensuring scalability, security, and performance, and providing technical leadership to mobile development teams.

Responsibilities

Design scalable integration solutions using API-led connectivity (System, Process, Experience layers)
Define architecture patterns, integration strategies, and best practices
Ensure reusability, performance, and security of APIs
Lead a team of MuleSoft developers
Provide hands-on guidance in development, debugging, and optimization
Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards
Build and oversee APIs using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
Work with REST/SOAP services, Data transformation (DataWeave), and Connectors (Salesforce, SAP, DB, etc.)
Work closely with business teams, architects, and product owners
Translate business requirements into technical solutions
Provide effort estimation and technical feasibility
Identify bottlenecks and optimize performance
Handle production issues and provide RCA (Root Cause Analysis)
Define API governance policies
Ensure adherence to security (OAuth, JWT, policies in API Manager)
Maintain documentation and standards
Manage CI/CD pipelines
Support deployments in CloudHub / Runtime Fabric / On-Prem
Handle versioning and release management
Define end-to-end mobile architecture for native and/or cross-platform applications.
Design scalable, secure, and high-performance mobile solutions.
Create architectural blueprints, technical roadmaps, and design documentation.
Define best practices for app structure, modularization, and reusable components.
Evaluate and recommend native vs cross-platform frameworks (e.g., Flutter, React Native, Kotlin Multiplatform).
Ensure architectural consistency between iOS and Android ecosystems.
Define strategies for shared services, libraries, and code reuse.
Architect integrations with REST/GraphQL APIs, Microservices, Cloud services, Authentication systems (OAuth, SSO)
Ensure secure communication and API management.
Implement mobile security standards including secure data storage, encryption, authentication & authorization, and secure coding practices.
Ensure compliance with enterprise security policies and mobile governance.
Design solutions that support high user volume and performance optimization.
Optimize application startup time, memory usage, and network utilization.
Implement monitoring and performance tracking.
Define mobile CI/CD pipelines for build, testing, and deployment.
Implement automation for build processes, unit testing, and app store deployment.
Integrate with DevOps platforms.
Provide technical leadership to mobile development teams.
Review code, enforce architecture standards, and mentor developers.
Collaborate with product owners, UX teams, and backend architects.
Establish mobile architecture governance frameworks.
Conduct architecture reviews and ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
