About The Position

OneZero Solutions is seeking an experienced MuleSoft Developer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position is in Herndon, VA. The qualified applicant will become part of Peraton's Department of State (DOS) Consular Systems Modernization (CSM) Program, for the Bureau of Diplomatic Technology (DT). This initiative is intended to modernize and consolidate the operational environment under a common technology framework to better support the services provided to CA's customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, CIS, BIT, Engineering, or related field and 5 (five) years' experience.
  • At least 4 years' direct experience in software development lifecycle.
  • At least 3 years of experience in development of enterprise-level MuleSoft projects throughout implementation lifecycles with demonstrable success.
  • 2-4 years of hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
  • At least 3 years of experience with API lifecycles in all stages.
  • Experience with designing, development and implementing workflows.
  • Experience and understanding business requirements, working with stakeholders, and implementing complex integrations.
  • Hands-on experience with implementing certificate-based security for Mule applications.
  • Experience in Agile environments and methodologies.
  • Must have an Active Secret (or higher) clearance. Interim clearances are acceptable.
  • Certified MuleSoft Developer Level I or II.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience developing/deploying applications written in open languages and integration with Salesforce platform.
  • Knowledge of, or previous experience designing enterprise secure services using REST based APIs including SOAP based APIs.

Responsibilities

  • Use your technical proficiency with MuleSoft to design and develop business functionalities using inbuilt CRM/CX technologies and functionalities.
  • Understand Business Requirements, perform impact analysis and assess technical challenges/feasibility in achieving required business outcome.
  • Work with stakeholders to design, develop, document, and implement solutions on the MuleSoft platform and API development standards.
  • Identify ongoing risks and pain points throughout the project, develop and implement mitigation measures.
  • Work with system architects and support team members to address security and compliance (e.g. section 508, FISMA) requirements related to the setup of MuleSoft and Salesforce platform sandbox and development environments.
