About The Position

Guidehouse has an exciting opportunity for MuleSoft Developers in a high-growth practice. You will be a key contributor on the consulting team that designs, develops, and implements innovative integration and API solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. You will help ensure successful client engagements, technical delivery, and implementation of scalable and secure enterprise integrations. You will work closely with the Solution Architect, Technical Architect, business analysts, client stakeholders, and other members of the delivery team. This role requires a strong foundation in MuleSoft development, API-led connectivity, enterprise integration patterns, DataWeave, and the design and implementation of real-time and batch integrations.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree and a MINIMUM of FOUR (4) years of experience in enterprise application integration, including hands-on MuleSoft development experience using Mule 4 and the Anypoint Platform; OR TEN (10) years of relevant experience may be substituted for formal education or an advanced degree
US Citizenship is contractually required
Experience designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting MuleSoft APIs and integrations
Strong experience with Mule 4, Anypoint Studio, DataWeave 2.0, APIKit, Exchange, API Manager, and Runtime Manager
Experience implementing API-led connectivity using Experience, Process, and System APIs
Strong knowledge of REST, SOAP, RAML, OpenAPI, JSON, XML, XSD, and YAML
Experience building real-time, event-driven, scheduled, and batch integrations across cloud, SaaS, legacy, database, and on-premises systems
Strong DataWeave skills and experience with reusable error handling, logging, shared components, and common MuleSoft connectors
Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns, asynchronous messaging, routing, transformation, and orchestration
Experience implementing API security using OAuth 2.0, Client ID Enforcement, JWT, SSL/TLS, mutual TLS, and certificates
Experience deploying MuleSoft applications to CloudHub, CloudHub 2.0, Runtime Fabric, or on-premises environments
Experience with Git, Maven, CI/CD tools, and automated testing using MUnit
Experience monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting MuleSoft applications using Anypoint Monitoring, Runtime Manager, logs, and observability tools
Understanding of API lifecycle management, governance, versioning, security, scalability, and integration best practices
Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical teams, business stakeholders, and client leadership

Nice To Haves

Experience in a “Big 4” or equivalent established consulting firm and/or MuleSoft implementation partner is highly desired
BA/BS degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
MuleSoft Certified Developer – Level 1 certification is preferred
MuleSoft Certified Developer – Level 2, MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect, or MuleSoft Certified Platform Architect certification is highly desired
Experience with Federal Government, Department of Defense, or public-sector clients preferred
Experience delivering solutions in environments subject to federal security, compliance, and documentation requirements
Experience with Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or Hybrid-Agile delivery methodologies
Experience with MuleSoft Runtime Fabric and container-based deployments
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift, or other container orchestration platforms
Experience with Azure API Management, Apigee, AWS API Gateway, Kong, or other API management platforms
Experience integrating MuleSoft with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Health Cloud, or other Salesforce products
Strong hands-on experience with Mule 4, Anypoint Studio, DataWeave 2.0, APIKit, Anypoint Exchange, Runtime Manager, and API Manager
Experience designing and implementing Experience APIs, Process APIs, and System APIs using API-led connectivity principles
Expert-level experience designing and developing RESTful and SOAP-based web services
Experience developing API specifications using RAML, OpenAPI, JSON, XML, XSD, and YAML
Experience integrating MuleSoft with Salesforce, databases, legacy applications, SaaS platforms, third-party applications, and external web services
Experience implementing reusable error-handling frameworks, logging standards, common services, and shared integration components
Experience with MuleSoft connectors, including HTTP, Database, File, SFTP, Salesforce, JMS, Web Service Consumer, and other enterprise connectors
Understanding of enterprise integration patterns, including routing, transformation, orchestration, publish-subscribe, request-response, and asynchronous messaging
Experience deploying and managing MuleSoft applications in CloudHub, CloudHub 2.0, Runtime Fabric, or on-premises Mule runtime environments
Experience with source control and automated build and deployment processes using Git, Maven, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD tools
Experience troubleshooting application, connectivity, performance, and production-support issues using Anypoint Monitoring, Runtime Manager, logs, and enterprise observability tools

Responsibilities

Guide client engagements, technical delivery, and implementation of scalable and secure enterprise integrations.
Work closely with the Solution Architect, Technical Architect, business analysts, client stakeholders, and other members of the delivery team.
Design, develop, and implement innovative integration and API solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
Participate in technical design, code reviews, deployments, defect resolution, and production support.
Communicate and collaborate with technical teams, business stakeholders, and client leadership.
