About The Position

The MuleSoft Developer II designs, develops, and supports secure, scalable cloud based APIs and integrations using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, delivering reliable API led solutions that enable seamless data exchange across internal systems and external partners. This role partners closely with business stakeholders, architects, application teams, and vendors to translate Digital Banking and business requirements into effective integration solutions that meet or exceed user expectations while adhering to enterprise security, governance, and performance standards in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelors: Computer and Information Science (Required), Bachelors: Computer Engineering (Required), Bachelors (Required)
  • 5+ years of experience in software development, with a strong proficiency in MuleSoft, .NET C# and JavaScript.
  • Experience building cloud deployed MuleSoft integrations.
  • Experience deploying to MuleSoft CloudHub.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • RESTful web services, JSON/XML payloads, and DataWeave transformations.
  • Strong experience with REST APIs, JSON, XML, and DataWeave.
  • The Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in API led connectivity and OpenAPI Specification (OAS) design.
  • Experience in CloudHub deployment, monitoring, and logging.
  • Experience in integration with core banking platforms, SaaS applications, or third party vendor systems.
  • Experience in MuleSoft Anypoint Platform components including API Manager, Exchange, and Runtime Manager.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices supporting cloud based integrations.
  • MuleSoft Certified Developer - Level 1, MuleSoft Certified Developer - Level 2

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and support secure, cloud‑based APIs and integrations using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (Mule 4).
  • Build reusable and scalable APIs aligned with enterprise integration and Digital Banking needs while applying API‑led connectivity principles to promote consistency, reliability, and reuse.
  • Ensure all integrations meet established performance, availability, security, and governance standards.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for MuleSoft integrations and API design, providing guidance on API contracts (OAS), error handling, resiliency patterns, and versioning strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with product owners, architects, and delivery teams to design and implement effective integration solutions and participate in design reviews to ensure alignment with enterprise and cloud standards.
  • Deploy, operate, and support APIs within MuleSoft CloudHub environments.
  • Implement monitoring and logging capabilities to support highly available and reliable services, and ensure compliance with authentication, authorization, and API governance requirements.
  • Continuously improve integration performance, reliability, and developer experience.
  • Maintain accurate integration and API documentation and stay current with MuleSoft platform enhancements, industry trends, and integration best practices.
