We are currently seeking a talented MuleSoft Architect to join our dynamic team supporting our client in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in integration architecture and API-led connectivity
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
  • Proven experience with MuleSoft runtime upgrades (4.x)
  • Proven experience with CloudHub migrations (preferably CloudHub 2.0)
  • Proven experience with Anypoint Platform security and governance
  • Strong expertise in Java (Java 11/17) and integration patterns
  • Experience with networking concepts including VPNs, DNS, and TLS/SSL certificates
  • Familiarity with identity providers such as Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and SSO integrations
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven architecture

Nice To Haves

  • MuleSoft Certified Architect or Developer certifications
  • Experience with DevOps tools (CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
  • Knowledge of containerization and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP)
  • Experience with API governance frameworks and enterprise integration patterns

Responsibilities

  • Lead the upgrade of MuleSoft runtime from MuleSoft 4.4 to 4.9 LTS with Java 17 compatibility
  • Assess and remediate compatibility issues across APIs, connectors, and custom components
  • Ensure adherence to MuleSoft best practices and performance optimization during upgrade
  • Coordinate regression testing, deployment planning, and rollback strategies
  • Document upgrade approach, risks, and mitigation strategies
  • Architect and execute migration from CloudHub 1.0 to CloudHub 2.0
  • Design and configure Private Spaces, including secure networking and isolation
  • Implement and manage VPN connectivity, DNS configurations, and certificate management
  • Ensure high availability, scalability, and security in the new CloudHub 2.0 environment
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, and security teams for seamless migration
  • Lead migration to Anypoint Teams for improved access control and governance
  • Integrate MuleSoft platform with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) using group-based access control
  • Design and implement role-based access models aligned with enterprise security standards
  • Establish governance frameworks, policies, and best practices for API lifecycle management
  • Improve platform observability, auditability, and operational efficiency
