JOB SUMMARY Provide clinical supervision to all BBS registered staff, student interns, including individual and group supervision, clinical assessment guidelines, in-service training, and clinical consultation. Collaborate with participating schools.

Requirements

Master’s degree and current CA BBS license (MFT, LCSW, LPCC) required.
Two years clinical experience post-licensing required.
Valid CA driver’s license and current auto insurance per contract requirements required.
Cultural competency understanding required.
If substance use disorder program a negative tuberculosis test (TB) is conducted under licensed medical supervision within 45 working days of hire or within 5 working days of employment and valid cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and first aid certification upon hire or within 90-days of employment.

Nice To Haves

Experience providing mental health and/or substance use disorder services preferred.
Bilingual preferred.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and EHR software preferred.

Responsibilities

Weekly individual and/or group clinical supervision for BBS registered staff and interns. Other staff and interns as assigned.
Clinical assessment guidelines, clinical assessment skills reviews and consultation resource.
Collaborate with schools, attend required training, maintain communication, and reports.
Provide in-service training and ensure client clinical needs are being met.
Review staff charting for completeness and compliance with standards of care.
Complete accurate and timely documentation as contractually required and meet minimum billable requirements for direct client services.
Maintain confidentiality of client’s care.
Participate in scheduled program meetings.
Other relevant duties as assigned.
Carry clinical and administrative supervisory responsibilities for 1-2 MST teams of 2-4 therapists each
Conduct weekly group supervision and training for MST team to assure adherence to MST principles and the MST analytic process, and to assure clinician competency in implementation of interventions
Conduct individual supervision as needed to target clinician competency needs and to remove individual barriers to effective implementation of MST treatment.
Assure availability of clinical and administrative support to clinicians 24 hours/day, 7 days/week
Collaborate with stakeholders, both external in the community and within the provider agency
Promote and educate about MST with both internal and external stakeholders
Generate and manage case referrals and manage clinician caseloads
Collaborate actively with MST Expert around implementation of MST by the program, and to ensure continued development of own clinical skills and knowledge of relevant research
Manage and report data on clinical outcomes and program practices
Deliver MST to a caseload of 1-2 families, as required to address program needs
