About The Position

The Mountain Ticket Office (MTO) Sales Associate is responsible for providing exceptional service while completing guest transactions during the Summer operating season.

Requirements

  • Strong customer service and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic sales and/or cash handling experience.
  • Knowledge of and experience with computers (Windows).
  • Knowledge of and experience with general accounting procedures.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of currency.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small groups situations to guests, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to make sound decisions under stressful situations.
  • Ability to perform essential duties efficiently and accurately.
  • Employee is frequently required to stand, balance, walk and reach with hands and arms.
  • Maintain a professional attitude towards guests and staff.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Ability to work June through August

Responsibilities

  • Provide general information and assist guests in all selections and transactions of summer activities.
  • Account for balancing daily transactions to cash receipts.
  • Assist in the daily operations of the Ticket Office including filing, answering phones, and other duties as assigned.
  • Handle all incoming lost & found phone inquiries.
  • Communicate by radio for daily activities and for any emergencies.
  • Assist guests with Daily Use lockers.
  • Organize, clean, and maintain individual sales stations and the general sales office.
  • Assist with special projects, as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
