This role provides clinical supervision to all BBS registered staff and student interns, including individual and group supervision, clinical assessment guidelines, in-service training, and clinical consultation. The position also involves collaboration with participating schools.

Requirements

  • Master's degree and current CA BBS license (MFT, LCSW, LPCC) required.
  • Two years clinical experience post-licensing required.
  • Valid CA driver's license and current auto insurance per contract requirements required.
  • Cultural competency understanding required.
  • If substance use disorder program: a negative tuberculosis test (TB) conducted under licensed medical supervision within 45 working days of hire or within 5 working days of employment.
  • Valid cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and first aid certification upon hire or within 90-days of employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience providing mental health and/or substance use disorder services preferred.
  • Bilingual preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and EHR software preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide weekly individual and/or group clinical supervision for BBS registered staff and interns, and other assigned staff and interns.
  • Offer clinical assessment guidelines, clinical assessment skills reviews, and serve as a consultation resource.
  • Collaborate with schools, attend required training, maintain communication, and submit reports.
  • Provide in-service training and ensure client clinical needs are met.
  • Review staff charting for completeness and compliance with standards of care.
  • Complete accurate and timely documentation as contractually required and meet minimum billable requirements for direct client services.
  • Maintain confidentiality of client care.
  • Participate in scheduled program meetings.
  • Carry clinical and administrative supervisory responsibilities for 1-2 MST teams of 2-4 therapists each.
  • Conduct weekly group supervision and training for MST teams to ensure adherence to MST principles, the MST analytic process, and clinician competency in intervention implementation.
  • Conduct individual supervision as needed to address clinician competency needs and remove barriers to effective MST treatment implementation.
  • Ensure availability of clinical and administrative support to clinicians 24 hours/day, 7 days/week.
  • Collaborate with external community stakeholders and internal agency personnel.
  • Promote and educate about MST with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Generate and manage case referrals and clinician caseloads.
  • Collaborate actively with MST Expert regarding program implementation and personal clinical skill development and knowledge of relevant research.
  • Manage and report data on clinical outcomes and program practices.
  • Deliver MST to a caseload of 1-2 families, as required to address program needs.
  • Perform other relevant duties as assigned.
