About The Position

As an MSR I, you will provide excellent member experience in every interaction by delivering a wide range of banking services with accuracy, professionalism, and care. You will help members and prospective members feel promptly and professionally served by answering questions, understanding concerns, deescalating issues, resolving requests, and offering needs-based Credit Union products and services that support their financial goals. You will open and maintain consumer auxiliary accounts, assist with online and mobile banking needs, support members with emerging branch technology, and process a variety of account services, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, wire transfers, cashier’s checks, Visa gift cards, Visa cash advances, night drop deposits, mail deposits, check processing, card maintenance, certificate renewals, file maintenance, account changes, and fraud or debit and credit card disputes. You will also maintain a balanced cash drawer, demonstrate transaction accuracy, complete audits and supporting documentation, and assist with loan-servicing needs such as payoffs, address changes, collateral releases, and payment due date changes. In this role, you will build and strengthen long-term relationships with both new and existing members by communicating promptly and courteously through in-person interactions, phone calls, voicemail, text, and email. You will provide general Credit Union information, council members on money management and financial matters within your role and represent UCCU’s quality and professional reputation in every member interaction. You will work closely with branch employees, area personnel, and management to ensure branch operations run smoothly. This includes completing reports and records accurately, attending meetings as required, keeping management informed of significant activities or concerns, maintaining a clean and secure work area, and safely and precisely following all branch opening and closing procedures. You will also continue building your knowledge and performance through assigned training, certification programs, and ongoing education, while staying informed about relevant economic conditions and legal or regulatory changes that may impact the Credit Union and the members we serve.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • One to three years of similar or related experience
  • Working knowledge of Credit Union account and loan services, policies, procedures, consumer banking practices, and related legal, regulatory, and documentation requirements.
