About The Position

This position involves opening new consumer accounts and performing account maintenance. The role requires balancing the cash drawer daily for accuracy, producing quality work efficiently and error-free, and researching, troubleshooting, and resolving member inquiries. The MSR Floater will apply advanced knowledge and logic to all activities and member interactions, creating solutions in the best interest of members. Service will be provided in accordance with Create CU standards, with a focus on establishing and deepening member relationships to make Create CU the member's first choice for financial decisions. The role also involves proactively offering products and services as solutions to member needs, leading to sales and referrals to business partners. Attaining management-set goals consistently is expected. The MSR Floater will cross-train in other branch/department functions as determined by the Branch Manager and demonstrate the ability to cross-train other employees. A positive and professional team environment is essential, along with demonstrating the organization's service commitment in all member interactions. Duties may be assigned by management, and the employee may be assigned to work at any branch. The credit union promotes continual education and career development, expecting self-development initiatives such as attending meetings, educational sessions, seminars, or courses as requested.

Requirements

Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
One or more years of cash handling experience.
Ability to manage relationships at all levels throughout the organization.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated member service and sales ability.
Professional and service attitude.
Utilization of online/mobile banking related services.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of regulations pertaining to accounts, services, confidentiality, disclosure requirements and lending is preferred.
Experience in a banking environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

Opens consumer new accounts and performs account maintenance.
Balances cash drawer daily to assure accuracy in transactions.

Researches, troubleshoots and resolves member inquiries.
Applies advanced knowledge and logic to all activities and member interactions and creates solutions that are in the best interests of members.
Provides member service in accordance to Create CU standards.
Works to establish and deepen relationships with members so Create CU is the members first choice when a financial decision is made.
Proactively offers products and services as solutions to member needs that result in sales and referrals to business partners throughout the credit union.
Attains goals as set by management on a consistent and continual basis.
Cross trains in other branch/department functions as determined by Branch Manager, as well as demonstrating the ability and willingness to cross train other employees in the operational, sales and service aspects of their position.
Demonstrates the organization's service commitment in all member interactions.
Ensures a positive and professional team environment.
Performs duties as assigned by management and may be assigned to work at any branch.
