Company Description SUMO Medical Staffing specializes in locum tenens placement for temporary and permanent positions in hospitals, private practices, government facilities, and medical centers across the United States. We are dedicated to placing the most qualified physicians and advanced practice providers (APP) in specialties such as psychiatry, internal medicine, hospitalist, family medicine, ER/urgent care, pediatrics, and many more. Compensation: $70,000.00

Responsibilities

  • Monitor assigned MSP/VMS platforms throughout the day for new opportunities, extensions, and schedule additions.
  • Prioritize opportunities based on specialty demand, urgency, provider availability, client requirements, and revenue potential.
  • Coordinate rapid provider presentations to achieve industry-leading speed-to-bid performance.
  • Maximize revenue capture across all assigned MSP/VMS partnerships.
  • Identify missed revenue opportunities and ensure all viable opportunities are actively pursued.
  • Build and maintain submission-ready provider pipelines by specialty.
  • Proactively obtain and organize licenses, certifications, references, malpractice documentation, case logs, client-specific forms, and additional submission requirements before opportunities arise.
  • Identify and resolve submission barriers that delay presentations or reduce confirmation rates.
  • Develop “ready-to-submit” provider packets for priority specialties to support immediate client response.
  • Prepare complete, accurate, and high-quality provider presentations across all assigned MSP/VMS platforms.
  • Coordinate name clears, client-specific documentation, presentation packets, and confirmations.
  • Maintain platform-specific workflows, templates, submission standards, and client rulebooks.
  • Drive consistency and best practices across all MSP/VMS platform submissions.
  • Support recruiters and Client Representatives by ensuring submission quality, completeness, and speed.
  • Partner with Client Representatives to prioritize the highest-value revenue opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Physician Recruiters to align qualified providers with active client demand.
  • Coordinate with QX and internal support teams to improve workflow efficiency while maintaining quality standards.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and recommend scalable process improvements that increase revenue capture and reduce turnaround times.
  • Evaluate automation opportunities that improve speed, consistency, and operational efficiency.
  • Develop, maintain, and present executive KPI reporting including: Hours to First Bid, Speed-to-Bid Performance, Request-to-Bid Conversion, Bid-to-Award Conversion, Confirmation Rate, Revenue by Platform, Revenue by Specialty, Platform Utilization, Market Share Trends, Missed Revenue Opportunity Analysis, Gross Margin Impact.
  • Provide actionable recommendations to executive leadership that improve platform performance, operational efficiency, and revenue growth.
