About The Position

MSAT Manager, Projects Location: Portsmouth, NH. The MSAT Manager, Projects is responsible for leading a small group of professional scientists whose major responsibility is process transfer and/or support for a number of different customer projects. You will be accountable for the delivery of your team's upstream or downstream functional services to manufacturing assets. This management includes ensuring work is carried out against time, quality, and safety goals. You must be capable of motivating others and creating a positive work environment where inter-departmental collaboration, coaching, and performance feedback are continuous. Accountable for the delivery of your team's upstream/downstream functional services to the manufacturing asset, ensuring work is carried out against time, quality and safety goals. Must be capable of motivating others and creating a positive work environment where interdepartmental collaboration, coaching and performance feedback are continuous. Set clear expectations, monitors team performance, and ensure alignment with departmental goals. Lead resource planning and workload balancing to meet project and operational demands efficiently. Guide the team in resolving complex technical issues and support decision making on deviations, process changes, and regulatory documentation. Ensure team members are equipped to handle both routine and non-standard technical challenges. Represent the team in customer forums, ensuring effective communication and alignment. Coache team members on customer interaction and escalate major issues as needed. Champion Lean principles and drive change initiatives within the team. Encourage innovation, challenge the status quo, and support continuous improvement efforts. What we are looking for: 8+ year's of experience with a Bachelor's Degree, 6 years with Master's, 5 years with PhD in process development and process scale up/manufacturing. Experience with large scale mammalian manufacturing support, current Good Manufacturing Practices, US / EU regulations, supervision. Project and program management skills with systematic approaches to problem solving and the ability to break down complex problems and tasks into activities capable of being performed by personnel. Requirements
