About The Position

Paragon Prep has delivered a rigorous and nurturing environment to students PK-8th grade since 1997. Graduates are ready for the honors program of any high school and participate in athletics, academic competitions, robotics, and community service projects. Paragon delivers a first-rate education in a small setting for students who are excited about learning. Beyond mastering the most challenging curriculum in the area and the opportunity to earn up to five high school credits, students at Paragon Prep have the chance to excel in competitive sports and explore a wide array of electives, enriching their educational journey. We are seeking a Middle School Volleyball Coach to join our team. This part-time position requires about 15 hours per week and is integral to the development of our athletic program. The responsibilities of the Volleyball Coach will consist of some or all of the following:

Requirements

Experience coaching.
A high school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree encouraged).
Prior playing, coaching experience, or any combination of the two in volleyball.
Strong knowledge of volleyball, including but not limited to training and conditioning techniques, and the ability to diagnose player deficiencies and prescribe sport-related corrective activities.
Coach athletes of different ages and skill levels.
Communicate effectively.
Access and utilize technology.
Establish and maintain positive working relationships with faculty, staff, administrators, students, parents, and community members.

Manage and administrate the scheduling of practice and games.

Travel on the school bus to away games and practices per the season schedule.
