About The Position

The MS Therapist Licensed at is responsible for providing high-quality mental health services to individuals experiencing a range of psychological issues. The role involves assessing, diagnosing, and creating personalized treatment plans to support clients in achieving improved mental health and well-being.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as a Mental Health Counselor, Clinical Social Worker, or Marriage and Family Therapist in the state.
  • Minimum of two years of post-graduate experience in a therapeutic setting.
  • Experience working with individuals with mental health disorders, preferably in a clinical or community mental health environment.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing treatment plans for clients with diverse backgrounds and needs.
  • Strong knowledge of therapeutic techniques and evidence-based practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Ability to conduct assessments and provide appropriate interventions for clients.
  • Proficiency in maintaining accurate and confidential client records.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying informed about advancements in mental health therapy.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients' mental health needs and challenges.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based therapeutic practices.
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions to clients with diverse backgrounds and mental health conditions.
  • Monitor and evaluate clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers, to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
  • Participate in regular supervision and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
  • Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in mental health therapy to apply best practices in treatment.
  • Adhere to all ethical and legal guidelines in the provision of mental health services.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support as needed to clients experiencing acute mental health episodes.
