MS Power Apps Developer
About The Position
This role focuses on developing solutions within the MS Power Apps ecosystem, with a strong emphasis on environment strategy, access controls, and application lifecycle management. The developer will be responsible for defining and implementing environment intents, maker access boundaries, and approved connector usage. Additionally, the role involves managing application ownership, supportability, and promotion expectations from development to production. Key tasks include remediating failing automations, correcting misconfigured connectors, improving error handling and monitoring, and aligning access controls with enterprise standards. The contractor must provide their own equipment, but access to a virtual desktop environment will be provided.
Requirements
- MS Power Apps development experience.
- Experience with environment strategy and environment intent (development vs. production).
- Knowledge of maker access boundaries and role-based permissions.
- Understanding of approved connector usage aligned to enterprise data access patterns.
- Experience with application ownership, supportability, and lifecycle expectations.
- Familiarity with promotion expectations from development to production environments.
- Ability to remediate failing or fragile automations.
- Skill in correcting misconfigured connectors or credentials.
- Proficiency in improving error handling and basic monitoring.
- Ability to align access controls and permissions to enterprise expectations.
- Skill in clarifying ownership and operational responsibility.
- Must have own equipment (Laptop, monitor, etc.).
