About The Position
The Middle School Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction within their assigned subject area(s), fostering a supportive and disciplined learning environment, and actively engaging in the spiritual formation of students. Teachers are expected to collaborate within departments, maintain professional communication with parents, and contribute to the broader life of the school. Teachers will support school policies and advance the school mission of The King’s Academy.
Requirements
- Teaching certification or eligibility for certification in Social Studies for Middle and High School.
- Bachelor's degree in History, Social Studies, Education, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of adolescent development and effective pedagogical strategies.
- Commitment to the spiritual mission and values of The King's Academy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and students.
Nice To Haves
- Master's degree in Education or a related field.
- Experience teaching in a private or faith-based school setting.
- Experience with curriculum development and assessment design.
- Proficiency in educational technology tools.
