For more information about the McCombs School of Business please visit https://www.mccombs.utexas.edu/ The Purpose of this role is to support the McCombs School of Business Master of Science Program Office (MSPO) on the admissions and yield process for domestic and international applicants. This position is a remote position. The employee is responsible for providing space, telephone, laptop and internet capabilities at their remote workplace, and will not be reimbursed for these or related expenses. The location of the remote workplace cannot be in a public place to ensure confidentiality of information. Virtual attendance at training and a regular cadence of virtual meetings is required. This is a fixed-term, non-benefits-eligible position with an anticipated end date of June 18, 2027.

Requirements

  • An Associate’s degree or higher.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage high volume workloads with competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Willingness to learn the necessary skills to retrieve applications and report evaluations in a CRM environment (Salesforce).
  • Experience working in an academic, career coaching, or recruiting capacity.
  • Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States.
  • This position is not eligible for sponsorship of work visas.
  • Applicants must be available to virtually attend meetings scheduled during regular business hours (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Central Time) as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in admissions and knowledge of relevant qualifications for entry into graduate programs.
  • Experience in performing, managing and troubleshooting application processing, evaluation and review, including making decisions on applications.
  • Experience processing applications within a CRM environment.

Responsibilities

  • Remotely review applications for the MS programs in Salesforce for completeness, scoring specific aspects of the application, as well as tabulating and disseminating admissions information on a rolling basis to the appropriate MSPO staff.
  • Record review notes in Salesforce and provide initial recommendations.
  • Identify and notify MSPO of any application issues within the platform.

  • The retirement plan for this position is Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS), subject to the position being at least 20 hours per week and at least 135 days in length.
