About The Position

RPM Industrial Coatings Group in Hudson, NC is looking for MRT Batch Makers. This role involves mixing solvents and dry chemicals to create dispersion batches according to instructions on a batch ticket. The position requires attention to detail in measuring ingredients, operating mixing equipment, and potentially performing other related operations like blending, filtration, drying, or grinding. Quality control is also a part of the role, including testing products and making final adjustments. Maintaining a neat and orderly work area is also expected.

Requirements

Good math and measurement skills required.
Basic reading and comprehension skills required.
Ability to determine correct processes regarding standard stain batch making procedures as instructed in initial training.
The ability to work without continuous supervision while completing assigned projects.

Nice To Haves

Experience in Manufacturing, Filling area strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Mix solvents and dry chemicals according to instructions on batch ticket.
Weigh and/or measure specific quantities of varying types of ingredients in proper sequence and proportions.
Tend mixing or compounding equipment and maintain desired control over time, heat, pressure, color or other variables.
May perform blending, filtration, drying, grinding or other related operations.
May test according to prescribed procedures and specifications.
Maintain batch, time weight, color, pressure, heat production and/or other records as required.
Take products to QA Lab for QC checks and make final adjustments.
Maintain work area in a neat and orderly fashion.
