Join Collins Aerospace as an MRO Quality Technician I (Final Inspection) and play an important role in ensuring aircraft components meet the quality and airworthiness standards required for return to service. Supporting repair station operations in Burnsville, Minnesota, this position helps maintain the integrity and reliability of aerospace products through detailed inspection processes and adherence to established quality procedures. Working closely with production and quality teams, you will contribute directly to delivering products that meet customer requirements and regulatory expectations. In this role, you will perform receiving, in process, and final inspections while reviewing documentation to verify compliance with workmanship standards and repair requirements. Responsibilities include interpreting technical data such as drawings and bills of material, documenting discrepancies, processing SAP transactions, and making product acceptance decisions based on inspection criteria and procedures. You will work across multiple product lines, support quality initiatives, and use inspection tools and methods to ensure products are returned to service accurately, efficiently, and with complete documentation. This position is based onsite in Burnsville, Minnesota and supports first shift operations, with standard working hours of 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Candidates should have flexibility to support business needs, including overtime, extended workdays, and occasional weekend coverage as required. This position is considered safety sensitive in accordance with FAA guidelines. Candidate will be subject to drug and alcohol testing per FAA’s regulation 14 CFR part 120, as well as 49 CFR part 40.
