About The Position

Responsible for leading Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) operations supporting aerospace products and customers. This role is accountable for safety, quality, turnaround time (TAT), on-time delivery, productivity, and overall execution of the repair operation. The MRO Manager will lead daily operations, develop the organization, remove barriers to flow, and ensure compliance with FAA, customer, and company requirements.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing, repair, maintenance, or other regulated operations environments.
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams in a production, repair, or MRO environment.
  • Track record of delivering operational results, including turnaround time, on-time delivery, productivity, quality, and throughput.
  • Strong understanding of production planning, capacity management, constraint management, and daily operational execution.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional problem solving and drive accountability for results.
  • Experience developing frontline leaders and building high-performing operations teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience leading operations within an FAA Part 145 Repair Station.
  • FAA Repairman Certificate.
  • Aerospace MRO or aftermarket experience.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems and repair-order management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations, business, or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day MRO operations to achieve safety, quality, TAT, on-time delivery, productivity, and financial objectives.
  • Manage repair workflow from induction through evaluation, repair, test, final inspection, and shipment, with clear ownership of aging and overdue units.
  • Establish and maintain daily operating rhythms to identify constraints, prioritize customer requirements, and drive recovery actions.
  • Lead supervisors, technicians, and other operations personnel while developing capability, accountability, and bench strength within the organization.
  • Partner with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, Customer Account Management, and other functions to resolve technical, material, and customer issues impacting repair TAT.
  • Develop capacity, staffing, and cross-training plans aligned with current and forecasted repair demand.
  • Ensure compliance with FAA Repair Station requirements, applicable customer requirements, company procedures, and other regulatory standards.
  • Monitor operating metrics and implement corrective actions when performance is below target.
  • Support customer escalations and recovery plans for critical or overdue repair orders.
