MRO Manager
About The Position
Clemens Food Group is seeking a strategic and results-driven MRO Superintendent to lead and evolve our Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) function across multiple manufacturing facilities. Reporting to the Vice President of Manufacturing Excellence, this role creates the vision, direction, and long-term strategy for MRO operations while ensuring our plants have the critical parts, materials, and supplier partnerships needed to operate efficiently every day. This is a unique opportunity to influence operational performance across our entire network. The ideal candidate brings a balance of strategic thinking and operational execution, helping transform a highly tactical organization into a mature, value-driven MRO function that supports long-term business growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and MRO experience.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant MRO experience if no degree is held.
- Advanced SAP experience.
- Demonstrated experience leading MRO operations, inventory management, procurement, or maintenance support functions.
Nice To Haves
- Certified MRO Specialist or Certified MRO Manager designation.
- Experience managing large-scale MRO budgets and inventory investments.
- Multi-site manufacturing or consumer packaged goods (CPG) experience.
- Experience leading teams consisting of both salaried and hourly employees.
- Maintenance or reliability leadership experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction to MRO Supervisors and Buyers across all Clemens Food Group manufacturing locations.
- Maintain accountability for MRO working capital and inventory management across the enterprise.
- Oversee MRO systems, master data, inventory controls, and procurement processes.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives within the MRO organization and across functional teams.
- Establish key performance metrics and hold teams accountable to budgets, goals, and service expectations.
- Build and manage strategic supplier relationships while negotiating agreements that support operational excellence.
- Develop and execute a multi-year roadmap that advances the maturity, effectiveness, and value of the MRO organization.
- Partner closely with maintenance and operations leaders to ensure critical resources are available when and where they are needed.
