As an MRI Technologist you will be responsible for operating a magnetic resonance scanner to obtain images used by physicians in the diagnosis and treatments of pathologies and train additional MRI staff.

Requirements

ARMRIT or ARRT-MRI eligible
Current Magnetic Resonance Imaging license issued by the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to complete BLS certification within 90 days of hire
2+ years of successful work within a Radiology Department of similar complexity to the Clinic’s in the role of a dedicated MRI Technologist
Thorough knowledge of human anatomy, positioning, and MRI exam protocols
Ability to work with this schedule 7:30 am - 6:00 pm Tuesday through Friday

Responsibilities

Selects appropriate imaging techniques via operator’s console and peripheral hardware
Maintains a safe working environment for patients and staff
Enters and monitors patient data
Image exams in a way as to accurately demonstrate required patient anatomy
Trains additional MRI staff and MRI support staff
Maintains up to date knowledge of MRI procedures and protocols
Assists receptionist in scheduling patient exams as needed
