About The Position

The MRI Technologist will work in the Radiology Department at Sacred Heart Hospital in Lavonia, Georgia. The role involves direct patient care activities and clerical duties as assigned by MRI. Responsibilities include managing patient flow through the department, greeting, and escorting/transporting patients within the imaging department and back to their rooms or the Emergency Department.

Requirements

• Registered MR or registry eligible with ARRT (MR)
• Current BLS thru American Heart Association.
• Graduate of formal Radiographic technology training in an AMA-Approved school.

Nice To Haves

• One year experience in hospital environment as MRI Technologist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care activities and clerical duties as assigned by MRI.
• Direct patient flow through the department.
• Greet and escort/transport patients within the imaging department and back to the patient room or Emergency Department.
