About The Position

Outpatient Diagnostic Center of Alabama is seeking a patient-focused MRI Technologist to join their growing outpatient imaging team. This is a PRN (as needed) position to assist with vacation coverage, call-outs, and other staffing needs. The role involves PRN coverage for outpatient centers in Madison and Huntsville, with availability for daytime and evening coverage, and occasional weekend shifts. Evening and weekend hours are eligible for shift differential pay. Requirements

• Minimum associate's degree in Radiology or graduate of an accredited two-year radiology program.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography, or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMIT) and maintain current valid registration from ARRT or ARMIT.
• MR advanced registration through ARRT or ARMIT is required upon hire.
• Must meet the state licensure requirement for the state in which they practice.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans as required.
• Provide patient-focused care.
• Cover PRN needs for outpatient centers in Madison and Huntsville.
• Be available for daytime and evening coverage.
• Be available for occasional weekend shifts.
