About The Position

Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Corvallis, OR. The Diagnostic Imaging teams at Samaritan Health Services use state-of-the-art imaging technology while providing health care teams with the information needed for a fast, accurate diagnosis. Imaging services include: X-Ray, Fluoroscopy, Bone Density, CT Scan, Digital Mammography, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, and Ultrasound services. They now offer PET-CT scans, the latest in diagnostic imaging technology and one of the most powerful imaging tools that physicians can use to help diagnose and treat patients with cancer and other diagnoses. This position is initially posted as a 13-week contract; however, the anticipated assignment length is approximately six months.

Requirements

  • Must have a minimum of 1 year Diagnostic Imaging Experience in a hospital setting preferred
  • Must have current ARRT(MRI) or equivalent credential.
  • Radiography background with ARRT RT(R) credential preferred.
  • Must have current unencumbered Oregon license in MRI required.
  • Must have and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification during employment
  • Effective team skills including interaction, support, and respect are required.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills, professionalism, and reliability
  • Ability to learn and apply basic computer skills including locating and opening documents, completing forms, opening and sending e-mail messages.
  • Drug screen and background check (facility required)
  • Additional facility onboarding forms as assigned

Responsibilities

  • Taking patient medical histories
  • Answering questions about the procedure
  • Positioning patients according to established protocols
  • Adjusting equipment as needed to produce high-quality images
  • Evaluating images to make sure they meet the ordering provider’s requirements
  • Entering data into electronic medical records
