About The Position

This position is applicable for MRI, Tech 1 with less than two years of related work experience and MRI, Tech 2 with two years or more of related work experience. Corewell Health is offering up to $20,000 as a sign on bonus for this opportunity to external hires. Requirements

• Associate's Degree or equivalent years of experience in related field
• 2 years of relevant experience MRI experience Required
• CRT-Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (MRI) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire required Or CRT-American Registry Of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (MRI) - ARMRIT American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists Upon Hire required
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Provides health care services, applying pulsed radio-frequency waves and magnetic energy to assist diagnosis or treatment.
• Performs magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures, computer processing and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by or at the request of a licensed practitioner.
• Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.
• Role model for comprehensive care, addressing the physiological and socio-cultural needs of patients and their families and acts as a resource to other MRI staff in managing complex issues.
• Assures equipment is present and accounted for at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Assists in and facilitates employee development.
