About The Position

VitalHire is hiring a travel MRI Technologist (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) for an acute care hospital in Waterbury, Connecticut. This is a 13-week assignment with one opening, scheduled to start November 9, 2026. The position pays $2,824 per week, based on $70.60 per hour for 40 hours per week. Eligible workers may receive a housing and meals stipend of up to $1,484 per week, based on the GSA FY2027 maximum for the location. The day shift runs from 07:00 to 15:00, 40 hours per week.

VitalHire offers weekly direct deposit and a dedicated recruiter who provides support from submission through the final shift. The company also assists with licensing, credentialing, and onboarding. Contract extensions and additional assignments are often available.

Requirements

• Active ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT registration.
• At least 2 years of recent MRI experience in acute care.
• BLS (AHA) certification.
