About The Position

The MRI Technologist performs Magnetic Resonance examinations according to physician orders, utilizing sophisticated MRI equipment, taking into account an individual patient's special or age-related needs. This role requires utilizing knowledge and judgment in regard to imaging factors, imaging technique, and patient treatment needed to produce optimal images. Requirements

  • Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
  • Upon hire: Oregon Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist License or Upon hire: Oregon Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist Temporary License.
  • New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months of hire.
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
  • Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: National Certified MRI Technologist - American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists.
