Requirements

  • 2 years community college/vocational training in an accredited Radiological technologist program or equivalent of 2 years community college/vocational training in an accredited Radiological technologist program.
  • Upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist.
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
  • Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • Within 1 year of hire National Registered Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging or Within 1 year of hire National Certified MRI Technologist - American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists.

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years Sub-specialty MRI, Scanning, or Imaging experience.

Responsibilities

  • Performing MRI procedures, (setting up, scanning and filming).
  • Communication with radiologists and other physicians, patients and their families, and other persons.
  • Performing contrast injections.
  • Performing quality control and reporting tasks.
  • Maintaining day-to-day schedules.
  • Assisting radiologist.
  • Operates and maintains MR, and auxiliary equipment.
  • On call requirements.
