About The Position

Performs MRI studies following set protocol established by the Radiologists. Operates the MRI scanner to produce images of consistent optimal quality. Prepares scan room and equipment as appropriate. Positions patient, coils and equipment as required. Maintains communication with the patient throughout the scanning procedure.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Non Degree Program from a approved AMA Radiologic Technology program or MRI certificate program
  • 1 year experience as a Radiology Technologist
  • American Registry of Radiologists (ARRT) MR certification required within 2 years from date of hire.
  • Reg Technologist (R)

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year experience as a MRI Technologist
  • Basic Life Support
  • Reg Technologist (R) (MR)
