PRN MRI Technologist
About The Position
Outpatient Diagnostic Center of Alabama is seeking a patient-focused MRI Technologist to join our growing outpatient imaging team! This is a PRN (as needed) position to assist with vacation coverage, call-outs, and other staffing needs. The role involves PRN coverage for our outpatient centers in Decatur and Athens. We are seeking candidates available for both daytime and evening coverage, with the possibility of occasional weekend shifts. Evening and weekend hours are eligible for shift differential pay. Requirements
- Minimum associate's degree in Radiology or graduate of an accredited two-year radiology program.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography, or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMIT) and maintain current valid registration from ARRT or ARMIT.
- MR advanced registration through ARRT or ARMIT is required upon hire.
- Meet the state licensure requirement for the state in which they practice.
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI procedures.
- Provide patient care during imaging procedures.
- Operate and maintain MRI equipment.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team.
