Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Non Degree Program from a approved AMA Radiologic Technology program or MRI certificate program.
- 1 year experience as a Radiology Technologist
- Reg Technologist (R)
- Reg Technologist (MR)
- Basic Life Support
Nice To Haves
- 1 year experience in CT or MRI
Responsibilities
- Performs MRI studies following set protocol established by the Radiologists.
- Operates the MRI scanner to produce images of consistent optimal quality.
- Prepares scan room and equipment as appropriate.
- Positions patient, coils and equipment as required.
- Maintains communication with the patient throughout the scanning procedure.
