About The Position

The MRI Technologist will work Fulltime in the Radiology Department at St Mary’s Hospital in Athens, Georgia. Under the direction of the technical supervisor/team leader, the imaging assistant is responsible for direct patient care activities and clerical duties as assigned by MRI. This includes directing patient flow through the department, and greeting and escorting/transporting patients within the imaging department and back to the patient room or Emergency Department.

Requirements

• Registered MR or registry eligible with ARRT (MR)
• Must have current BLS thru American Heart Association.
• Graduate of formal Radiographic technology training in an AMA-Approved school.

Nice To Haves

• One year’s experience in hospital environment as MRI Technologist preferred.
