About The Position

BJC HealthCare System is hiring a Part-Time MRI Advanced Modality Radiology Technologist - Weekend Premium Pay Option (WEO) for Memorial Hospital (Belleville, IL). This position offers lucrative pay with a 50% extra premium on top of the hourly rate for weekend hours, and a $2,500 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates. The schedule involves working just 2 days a week, Saturday & Sunday from 6am-6:30pm, totaling 24 hours per week, making it benefits-eligible. This schedule maximizes pay while providing 5 days off in a row for a great work-life balance. The MRI Department at Memorial Hospital uses the latest technology to provide quality imaging and angiography for inpatients and outpatients. Memorial Hospital Belleville is an acute care hospital offering a full complement of diagnostic and treatment services.

Requirements

• Associate degree or Trade School equivalency (or higher level of education)
• Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography - R.T.(R)
• IEMA - Illinois only, excl MRI
• RTR,CT,MR,M,BD,CI,VI,RCIS,RCES

Nice To Haves

• MRI experience
• Registered MRI tech RT(MR)(ARRT) or AMRIT

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (defined as Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment, and quality control.
• Prepares patient and equipment for procedures.
• Performs studies independently, in on-call situations, portable exams, and other site as required by work area.
