About The Position

This role involves capturing high-fidelity diagnostic images by expertly positioning patients and selecting precise technical parameters to ensure clinical clarity. The technologist will guide patients through the imaging journey by providing empathetic education and pre-screening to reduce anxiety and ensure safety. Additionally, the role includes leading quality control for the digital record by managing the seamless transfer of images to PACS, ensuring every scan is accurately marked and documented for the radiologist. The technologist will also maintain a high-performance clinical environment by proactively monitoring equipment health and department readiness to ensure uninterrupted patient care.

Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Magnetic Resonance Imaging credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior hospital experience preferred
  • Cross sectional imaging experience preferred
