Responsible for providing quality MRI imaging services. This role requires maintaining expertise in anatomy, physiology, and pathology relevant to imaging, performing imaging procedures based on patient assessment and protocols, and ensuring MRI safety precautions. The technologist will also prepare contrast agents, educate patients, collaborate with staff, process exams, and participate in the education of orientees and students. Adherence to ethical guidelines, policies, and regulations is expected, along with prompt reporting of equipment failures and completion of in-services and QA.
