About The Position
The MRI Technologist operates magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes. Explains procedure to patient, positions and immobilizes patient on the exam table, and observes during the scan under the direction of a physician. Reviews and evaluates computer-generated information to determine if images are satisfactory for diagnostic purposes. Uses safety measures and protection devices to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
