About The Position

In this role, the MRI Technologist is responsible for the preparation and execution of MR procedures. You’ll have an exciting opportunity to warmly greet & welcome patients/visitors/staff & assist radiologists and other physicians in performing exams when necessary. Additional duties include to assess patient condition, produce good quality radiographic images, & ensure adherence to safety standards. This is a Per Diem position, primarily providing coverage for Weekends and Evenings, but also additional shifts as needed by the department. This position will provide coverage to Brooklyn Methodist Hospital and Center for Community Health. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Graduate from an accredited program in the school of Radiologic Technology
  • N.Y. State Department of Health X-ray License
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certification
  • At least 1 year of experience

Nice To Haves

  • N.Y. State Department of Health IV Certification
  • ARRT Advanced Modality certification - MR

Responsibilities
