About The Position
We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a travel contract position in Mount Pleasant, SC. This is a full-time role in an outpatient MRI clinic with a focus on spine-only imaging. The technologist will be responsible for performing MRI studies on adult and geriatric patients, including contrast-enhanced procedures. The clinic utilizes Philips Ingenia 1.5T MRI units and the Epic EMR system.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of MRI experience.
- Adult outpatient MRI experience required.
- Experience with spine-only imaging.
- Experience performing contrast-enhanced MRI studies.
- Epic experience required.
- AHA BLS certification.
- ARRT (MR) certification.
- Must not be a first-time traveler.
Nice To Haves
- Radiation Safety certification.
- Peripheral IV Starts experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI studies on adult and geriatric patients.
- Conduct spine-only imaging, including cervical, thoracic, lumbar spine, and sacrum/coccyx.
- Perform musculoskeletal MRI, including hip/bony pelvis and knee.
- Prepare and administer contrast agents for MRI studies.
- Operate Philips Ingenia 1.5T MRI scanners.
- Utilize Epic EMR and Visage PACS systems.
- Ensure patient safety and adherence to radiation safety protocols.
- Start peripheral IVs for contrast administration.
