About The Position

Jefferson Radiology is hiring a PRN MRI Technologist for an on-site position in Glastonbury, Connecticut. The technologist provides patient care by performing MRI procedures ordered by referring physicians, following the procedure and protocol manual while maintaining quality and productivity. The role operates MRI equipment and computer systems, including the Radiology Information System (RIS) and Picture Archival & Communication System (PACS).

Requirements

• ARRT or ARMRIT certification.
• MRI certification.
• CPR (BLS) certification.
• At least 2 years of experience in high-field MRI.
• Ability to perform intravenous injections proficiently.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care by performing MRI procedures ordered by referring physicians.
• Perform MRI exams according to the procedure and protocol manual while maintaining a high level of quality and productivity.
• Operate MRI equipment and computer systems, including RIS and PACS.
