Requirements

High School diploma or GED, plus a graduate of a Radiological Technology program.
New grad or up to one (1) year radiology technologist experience.
Registry eligible or Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
An Arkansas Radiologic Technologist License must be obtained before the start date.
MRI Advanced Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists must be obtained within 12 months of the hire date.
Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's/Baccalaureate Degree.
One or more years of experience as an MRI technologist.
MRI Advanced Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

Responsibilities

Produces quality MRI images as ordered by the treating physician.
Communicates with patients, coworkers, and physicians through written and verbal forms of communication.
Complete the required continuing education to stay abreast of new procedures as they are introduced.
Interacts with patients and family members during the entire procedure from prep to completion of the study.
Prepares patients for and runs MRI examinations by screening patients and interacting with family members.
Assists in scheduling MRI exams for patients and maintains clinical documentation.
Maintains supply chain responsibilities of medical supplies.
Responds to and resolves patient inquiries and concerns.
Acts as point of contact in the absence of a department manager.
Performs other duties as assigned.
