About The Position

MRI Technologist to work in the Radiology Department at St Mary’s Hospital in Athens, Georgia. Under the direction of the technical supervisor/team leader, the imaging assistant is responsible for direct patient care activities and clerical duties as assigned by MRI. direct patient flow through the department, greet and escort/transport patients within the imaging department and back to the patient room or Emergency Department.

Requirements

• Registered MR or registry eligible with ARRT (MR)
• Must have current BLS thru American Heart Association.
• Graduate of formal Radiographic technology training in an AMA-Approved school.

Nice To Haves

• One year experience in hospital environment as MRI Technologist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care activities and clerical duties as assigned by MRI.
• Direct patient flow through the department.
• Greet and escort/transport patients within the imaging department and back to the patient room or Emergency Department.
