About The Position

Outpatient Diagnostic Centers of Alabama is seeking a dedicated and patient-focused MRI Technologist to join our growing team in Decatur, Alabama. This is a full-time opportunity in an outpatient setting with a consistent schedule, excellent benefits, and a supportive team environment. Our services offered at affordable rates include Open MRI, CT Scan, 3D Mammography, Ultrasound, Bone Density, and X-ray. Outpatient Diagnostic Center is accredited with the American College of Radiology.

Requirements

Minimum associate's degree in Radiology or graduate of an accredited two-year radiology program.
Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography and maintain current valid registration.
Hold an MR advanced registration through ARRT.
Meet state licensure requirements for the state in which they practice.
BLS certification required within 60 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

Experience in an outpatient imaging setting.
Strong customer service and patient care skills.
Familiarity with various imaging services such as CT Scan, 3D Mammography, Ultrasound, Bone Density, and X-ray.

Responsibilities

Operate MRI equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures.
Ensure patient safety and comfort during MRI scans.
Prepare patients for MRI procedures, including explaining the process and answering questions.
Position patients correctly for optimal image acquisition.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Adhere to all safety protocols and quality standards.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
