Requirements

  • Prior high-field MRI experience in a hospital and/ or radiology center.
  • Radiologic Technology degree minimum RT and/ or MRI license.
  • ARRT registered

Responsibilities

  • Perform all MRI examinations scheduled.
  • Ensure all safety measures are strictly adhered to in accordance to MRI safety standards.
  • Responsible for images being properly sent to PACS for physician review.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all written and electronic information which employee has access to as part of his/ her job and observes patient rights, including email.
  • Maintain a positive work environment by behaving and communicating in a manner that gets along with co-workers, patients, physicians and management.
  • Perform safe MRI examination
  • Ensure patient safety within MRI suite
  • Check daily MRI schedule to ensure all prescriptions are ready for the next day MRI schedule
  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that gets along with patients, clients, co-workers, and management.
  • All other duties assigned by the Director of Radiology.
