About The Position

This role is responsible for positioning patients accurately and selecting precise technical factors to produce high-quality cross-sectional images for diagnostic review. The technologist will manage patient pre-screening, scheduling, and clinical education to ensure safety and readiness for specialized imaging examinations. Additionally, they will execute patient data entry and image transfers, ensuring high-quality submissions to PACS with accurate lead markers and history. The role also requires adherence to radiation safety guidelines while monitoring equipment functionality and maintaining a clean, orderly clinical environment.

Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • One or more of the following required: Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Must pass the Magnetic Resonance (MR) boards through American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 12 month of hire/transfer date.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Magnetic Resonance Imaging credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date.
  • Medical Sonographer specializing in Magnetic Resonance Imaging credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Must pass the Magnetic Resonance (MR) boards through American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 12 month of hire/transfer date.
  • Technologist specializing in Magnetic Resonance Imaging credentialed from the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
