About The Position
A facility on the NW Oregon coast is seeking a MRI Technologist to join their imaging team. This is a full-time, permanent position with a schedule of four, 10-hour shifts during the day. The role involves performing MRI scans according to physician orders, ensuring patient safety and image quality. Responsibilities include screening patients for MRI contraindications, explaining procedures, positioning patients for scanning, operating and maintaining MRI equipment, following radiation-free imaging safety protocols, and accurately documenting procedures.
Requirements
- Must have ARRT Certification
- Must have MRI experience
- Must have or be willing to obtain Oregon Imaging license
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI scans according to physician orders while ensuring patient safety and image quality.
- Screen patients for MRI contraindications, explain procedures, and position patients appropriately for scanning.
- Operate and maintain MRI equipment, follow radiation-free imaging safety protocols, and document procedures accurately.
