About The Position
Johns Hopkins Intrastaff is the internal staffing agency for the Johns Hopkins Health System and partner hospitals, providing temporary support to a variety of the Johns Hopkins locations. The MRI Technologist performs professional duties related to obtaining high-quality magnetic resonance images while providing exceptional patient care and ensuring compliance with departmental policies and procedures. This role is for a temporary full-time position.
Requirements

- Ability to administer IV contrast media in accordance with department policies
- Ability to document patient and exam information in EPIC and PACS
- Ability to maintain timely and accurate records
- Ability to collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Ability to assist with patient emergencies and provide basic first aid
- Ability to support the education and training of Radiology students
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality MRI and MRA examinations according to established protocols.
- Position and prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring safety, comfort, and accurate image acquisition.
- Administer IV contrast media in accordance with department policies.
- Evaluate image quality and make necessary technical adjustments.
- Accurately document patient and exam information in EPIC and PACS.
- Maintain timely and accurate records, ensuring compliance with departmental standards.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Assist with patient emergencies and provide basic first aid when necessary.
- Support the education and training of Radiology students as assigned.
