About The Position

Fairfax Radiology Centers (FRC) - the largest radiology practice in Northern Virginia - is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our outpatient imaging team in Reston / Herndon. This is a qualified full-time, benefited position offering a unique weekday schedule with built-in work-life balance. You’ll work four evening shifts each week - giving you a 3-day weekend every weekend. At FRC, you’ll work with advanced GE 1.5T and GE 3T MRI systems while delivering high-quality imaging and compassionate patient care in a collaborative outpatient environment. Whether your background is with Siemens, Philips, or GE, we value strong MRI fundamentals and provide GE-specific training to help you grow and diversify your experience. Requirements

6+ months of MRI experience or completion of a formal MRI training program
ARRT certification in Radiography (RT[R]) or MRI, or ARMRIT certification
BLS certification required
Strong communication and patient-care skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced outpatient imaging environment

Nice To Haves

Experience with Siemens, Philips, or GE MRI systems

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of routine and specialty MRI exams, including neurograms and breast MRI
Operate advanced GE 1.5T and 3T MRI scanners
Ensure patient safety, comfort, and satisfaction throughout the imaging process
Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and technologists to deliver efficient, high-quality diagnostic services
Maintain accurate documentation in PACS/RIS systems
