MRI Technologist
About The Position
This role may be for you if you are an experienced MRI Tech with at least 2 years of experience in a hospital setting and are looking for something different. As an MRI Tech, you will perform diagnostic imaging examinations using MRI equipment, prepare patients for procedures and explain the process clearly, position patients correctly to obtain high-quality images, maintain patient records and ensure proper documentation, adhere to safety protocols to protect patients and staff from radiation exposure, collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to interpret images, and maintain and calibrate imaging equipment regularly.
Requirements
- Active license within the state of Indiana
- Active ARRT R, or ARMRIT (Either specialty cert accepted)
- 2 years of recent and related experience, as required by the facility
- Must be able to work independently, yet together as part of a team
- Must be able to remain calm under pressure
- Active BLS, physical, TB test, and other medical compliance as required by the facility
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Neonates Preferred
- Preferred Skills: Brain, Spine, Abdomen, Pelvis, Prostate, Extremities and Cardiac.
