About The Position

Scan.com is a digital health scale-up focused on making diagnostics accessible, fast, and transparent. We are seeking a Mobile MRI Technologist to join our team at an exciting time of growth. This role is crucial to our physical operations, leading the day-to-day clinical functions of our high-end mobile MRI units. Unlike traditional traveling roles, our units are permanently parked, offering a stable work environment. The technologist will be responsible for the entire patient experience, from safety screening to high-fidelity imaging, and ensuring ACR compliance. As a scale-up, the role offers opportunities for development and involvement in various aspects of the operation.

Requirements

  • Hold a current ARRT (MR) credential.
  • Extensive experience specifically navigating and scanning on Siemens Espree MRI systems.
  • Proven track record of obtaining or maintaining ACR certification for MRI facilities.
  • Deep understanding of MRI safety protocols and rigorous screening procedures.
  • Comfortable troubleshooting technical issues and communicating effectively with engineers and stakeholders.
  • Proficient with Google Workspace (Docs/Sheets).
  • Quick study when it comes to scheduling software like Acuity.
  • Comfortable working in Hawthorne, CA.

Responsibilities

  • Executing high-quality MRI scans with a focus on diagnostic excellence and patient comfort.
  • Provide compassionate, patient-centered care by explaining MRI procedures, addressing concerns, and ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout imaging exams.
  • Taking full "ownership" of Siemens Espree systems, ensuring the system performs at peak levels.
  • Managing documentation of daily QC/QA procedures required for safety and accreditation.
  • Leading patient screening and safety protocols to ensure a seamless, anxiety-free experience for every visitor.
  • Identifying equipment issues and collaborating with Field Service Engineers.
  • Utilizing Acuity Scheduling and Google Workspace to manage patient flow and maintain digital records.
